There are many reasons why you should consider spending a few days at Prague, Czech Republic when on your European tour. For one, it is a great destination for people who love to walk at a leisurely pace while sightseeing and experiencing a relaxed environment. Prague is also a romantic city at night. There are lots of restaurants you can dine in as well as coffee shops where you can chill and hang out while resting your tired feet from walking.

Three days in Prague is enough to get a taste of the city’s rich cultural heritage and see historical places. You can take a stroll around the Old Town Square and walk down all the way to Powder tower which is considered to be a very historical entrance to the Old Town. The tower is also connected to the Municipal House – a must-see for all art enthusiasts.

To fully appreciate the tour of the Old Town, you must visit the Jewish Quarter where the oldest working synagogue in Europe is located. This should be followed by a trip to Prague castle where you can view the city of Prague in all its rich glory.

In your three-day stay, you definitely have to take a walk at Charles Bridge. During the day, you can climb up the tower to get a wonderful glimpse of the city. At night, you can freely stroll around the place as the crowds grow thin during the evenings. Take your time enjoying a leisurely stroll across the bridge, drink some coffee at a nearby shop or drink and be merry down at the pubs. You will also get to appreciate the view of Prague Castle, with all the lights lit up and illuminating the city during the evenings. Indeed, you will miss out on a lot of things if you don’t take a break and visit Prague during your holiday vacation.
