The San Francisco Bay Area is a metropolitan region that environs San Francisco and San Pablo Bays in Northern California. The area covers large as well as small rural and urban cities. Large cities like San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose. The bay area has a total of 9 counties, 101 cities and covers an area of seven thousand square mile. The nine counties that it covers are Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma.

The total population of the bay area is approximately 7.2 million people. Also, according to a survey of United Sates Census, the bay area has the highest median household income. The San Francisco Bay Area has also given birth to many cities, military base camps, airports, national parks, and has connected it through huge network of roads. One can find lots of highways, railroads, flyovers, and tunnels in this area. The bayhas the 49th largest urban area in the world and it is called the Francisco-Oakland-San Jose urban areas.

Statistics show that San Francisco is the second largest financial center in the United States of America after New York and San Jose is the thickest populated city in terms of people and coverage of area. The main beauty of San Franciso is because of its innate beauty, reputation and open-minded politics. This is a perfect place to go to during holidays if you are looking to spend your vacation in class and quality.
