If you want to go to a specific spot in Juan Dolio, it is accessible from the coastline road which usually follows the shoreline. Villas del Mar is a place to visit in Juan Dolio because this is where a lot of dining shops and hotels can be found. West of Juan Doilio is Guayacanes where it is famous for its fishing villages and beaches. There’s also the Playa Caribe, which boasts of its harbour-like beach. And, of course, Boca Chica which is 30 minutes away and Santo Domingo, which can be found west of Juan Dolio. If you are on your way to La Romana, you should travel the Boulevard that is directly headed to San Pedro de Macoris rather than the expressway because it is not yet complete.

If you have a few hours to spare, you can take a trip to San Pedro de Macoris, especially if you are a baseball enthusiast. This city is famous for its baseball players in the major league including Sammy Sosa. You can do a lot of shopping there and you can even extend your trip to the La Romana and Bayahibe area.
