Famous the world over as the city of angels, Los Angeles is the largest city of the state of California. It is a city surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges, forests, and valleys, making it a veritable paradise on earth.

But perhaps the reason that Los Angeles is most famous for is Hollywood. Apart from star-spotting that you can indulge here, there are also some Hollywood-inspired tourist attractions. The Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, for instance, is famous for its hand and foot prints of the famous movie starts. Also famous is the Walk of Fame. Other places to visit are the Wax Museum and Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.

If you are movie buff, then visit the Mulholland Drive. This is a background for various romantic scenes as well as endings of numerous movies. And if you still can’t get enough of Hollywood, then try the Street Rod Limos. The Street Rod Limos will give you around the homes of 40 American movie stars.

Tourists can also visit some of the famous museums and galleries of the city such as the Getty Center. Located at the top of the Santa Monica Mountains, this Center not only has a beautiful art collection but also offers a spectacular view of the L.A.Basin and the Pacific Ocean. Another place that might interest you is the Page Museum at La Brea Discoveries. This museum offers a fantastic glimpse into the palentological excavations in the area. In fact, the Rancho La Brea is one the world’s largest fossil localities.

While in Los Angeles, you can also visit the Griffith Park, which is the largest park to be inside a city. You can take trips ob several hiking trails in this park.
