The statue boasts of 250 tons of steel bar, 1550 cubic meters of concrete and 300 liters of gold paint which was purchased from Thailand. The huge statue is estimated to cost around 24 million rupees.
Also, one of the activities available upon visiting the area is rock climbing. For many years, the place has been developed into a rock climbing site in Malaysia. Authorities have allowed 160 different routes for climbers. Aside from these, you can also see many unique plants and animals upon visiting the site. There are also monkeys which can be fed by tourists.
It will also be an interesting visit if you chanced upon festivals performed in the Batu Cave. The festival has even attracted some 1.5 million people in 2007. im staying in malaysia and have travelled to batu caves plenty of times..and just bored to see it every time i am going to my house..batu caves is just beside my house..hahaxx..,pity y’all cant visit it..hahaxx..padan muka……
