Tsetserleg is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Mongolia. It is situated between grooved mountains with tree-lined roads and an old temple looking across the town.

Tsetserleg is a perfect getaway with combination visits to nearby towns in Mongolia like Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuu with a side trip to Khujirt or Kharkhorin. Decent hotels and restaurants can be found here if you would like to experience a taste of their Mongolian delicacy. Interesting structures also include an eye-catching Museum of Arkhangai Aimag, busy bodied Buyandelgerüülekh Khiid monastery, and Galdan Zuu Temple.

Nature and mountain lovers can take advantage of the hiking and trekking opportunities along with the great camping sites. Tourists seeking attractions and other activities can stay at the Fairfield Café & Guesthouse.
A shopping destination for artifact lovers is available at the art shop which sells locally made artifacts, traditional jackets and dresses.

The only way you can get to Tsetserleg is by bus or a shared or rented vehicle. You can also do hitching since all vehicles travel across town goes through Tsetserleg via the main road going to Arkhangai. You can also take the bus which departs daily on an eleven hour trip going to Ulaanbaatar.
