Andorra La Vella is the capital of Andorra and is a popular tourist destination for ski fanatics. Because of its high elevation (3,360 ft), the temperature in Andorra La Vella is mostly cool; from 30.2 degrees Fahrenheit during colder months to 68 degrees during summer. While skiing is the reason why most people visit Andorra’s capital, there are many other destinations and activities this city has to offer.

• Due to the low tax imposed on goods, you can find high quality items for a much cheaper price in Andorra La Vella. Both men and woman will enjoy shopping in the capital because of the wide range of goods, particularly jewelry and gadgets, sold in various shops.
• If you’re a fan of Italian food and seafood, you’ll love eating here. A lot of restaurants serve Italian cuisine such as pasta and pizza. What’s more is that most restaurants have reasonable prices. Just to make sure to eat early because the restaurants close at 10.
• The city is very alive at night. Most bars are open until 4:00am so you can find plenty of places to visit. Even though many bars and pubs stay open til morning, most people in the capital don’t have that “drink till you pass out” attitude.
• If you want some R&R you can visit the Caldea. It is a building complex with spa and sauna. You can also get a panoramic view of the city from here because it’s located at the top of Andorra La Vella.
