What to See
The sea aquarium offers various shows and presentations featuring whales, dolphins and sea lions. The centerpiece of the aquarium is the Whale and Dolphin show, where Lolita the killer whale and her Pacific white side companions show off their antics and athletic abilities. Flipper Dolphin show is also quite popular among visitors. Here, dolphins demonstrate their grace and intelligence featuring spins, jumps, and flips. Top Deck Dolphin show features the acrobatic abilities of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins.
One of the most popular exhibits is Discovery Bay. It is a mangrove habitat where you can find crocodiles, alligators, white tailed deer, indigenous fish and rays, endangered sea turtles and a host of native birds. Manatee Exhibit provides visitors with an opportunity to come face-to-face with Florida’s state marine mammal through poolside and underwater viewing areas. In addition to this, there is a Main Reef aquarium, Shark Presentation and California Sea Lion exhibit.
Admission
A day at Miami Seaquarium will cost $29.95 for adults and $22.95 for children between 3 and 9. If you have a Go Miami Card, you can get free entry.
