If you are looking for a fun, exciting and educational place to take your kids in Miami the Miami Children’s Museum is a must see destination. The museum lets children explore their imaginations through educational play. Located between South Beach and downtown Miami, the museum feels more like a playhouse that features a wide variety of exhibits to capture the interest of children of all ages.

This modern 56,500 square foot facility includes twelve galleries, classrooms, a 200 seat auditorium, a parent/teacher resource center and a Kid Smart educational gift shop. The galleries offer plenty of activities to explore, including a rock wall, sandcastles, creative art, cruise ship, recreation of NBC Television 6 studio, supermarket, castle of dreams and many more. One of the most popular exhibit is the World Music Studio, which gives a thrilling experience to young aspiring musicians, where they can lay down a few tracks and play instruments.

Exhibits and Activities

The Miami Children’s Museum offers hundreds of bilingual, interactive exhibits, programs and classes related to arts, culture and community. All the exhibits and activities at the museum are interactive, which means your kids will have a great time exploring every section of this museum.

The museum also offers art and music classes, summer camps, special drop-in programs and parenting programs.

Hours of Operation

You can visit the Miami Children’s Museum between 10 AM and 6 PM. The Museum is open every day except on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The admission is $12 for the residents of Florida and for children above the age of 12 months. For nonresident adults, the entry fee is $16.

The Miami Children’s Museum offers a cost effective, unique and exciting experience to both kids and adults. There is definitely a day full of fun at this children’s museum.
