The Covent Garden is a district that is located in the city of London, England. The district is right in between Drury Lane and St. Martin’s Lane, which is located in London’s West End. There are many things to do and see in The Covent Garden, and this is why it is one of the most visited districts in London.

Shopping


Visitors from all over come to the Covent Garden for the shopping. This is because there are many unique shops located in the district. It does not matter what a shopper is looking for, they will likely find it in one of the shops in Covent Garden. Some of England’s best fashion stores are located here, so if it is the latest fashion trends someone is after, or just unique fashion, then they want to go to Covent Garden. Gift shops are also a dime a dozen in the district, so shoppers can find some amazing gifts to get for their family and friends back home.

Dining And Nightlife


One of the reasons the district is popular among tourists is because of the dining and nightlife. Just like the shops, there are many different restaurants and little cafes scattered throughout the district. No matter what a person wants, they can find food from just about any culture in Covent Garden.

As far as the nightlife goes, the district has a great variety of bars and pubs to choose from. Visitors to the district can also pay a visit to some of the areas hottest nightclubs. There are more than 40 bars and pubs that are located throughout the district.

The Markets


There may be many shops in the district, but some people prefer to go to the markets instead. The markets located in the district are considered by many to be some of the best markets in the entire country. There are three huge markets in the Covent Garden. They are The Apple Market, Jubilee Market and the East Colonnade Market. These markets have many products for sale, such as jewelry, belts, kid’s clothing, women’s clothing and almost anything else you can think of.

Theatres And Museums


There are five theatres and a handful of museums that visitors can go and checkout while they are in Covent Garden. Some of the theatres that is located here are the Adelphi Theatre, Aldwych Theatre, Duchess Theatre and the Fortune Theatre. As far as museums, some of the ones guests should visit are the London Film Museum and the London Transport Museum.

Weather


As it is situated in London, Covent Garden is subjected to many types of weather. It experiences all four seasons. For this reason, summer is the busiest time of the year for the district as there is better weather to enjoy.
